Will Red Saturday see a Valentine's Day shopping frenzy?

Most Valentine's Day spending is expected to happen on February 7
First there was Black Friday and then Cyber Monday in the shopping run-up to Christmas - now it's apparently Red Saturday this weekend (February 7) as Valentine's Day approaches.
It's estimated £1.9bn will be spent on the day in a pre-Valentine's shopping frenzy.
Last year, a massive £1.3bn was spent by Brits on dinner, drinks, gifts, flowers, chocolates and cards.
Men tend to spend more than women with an average of £70.47 compared to £39.58.
There are now countless options for online dating - in 2012 there were an estimated 1,500 dating services in the UK - so more and more people are going online to find love.
Dating site eHarmony has more than 100,000 registered members in Surrey, from a total of 3.7 million members.
The company said there had been 11,000 marriages in the UK of couples who met using the service.
The website sees a 132% increase in registrations and 133% increase in subscriptions on Valentine's Day when compared to an average day.
The time people are most likely to join up to the service is the first week of January, probably as part of a New Year's resolution to try to find love.
There are a range of Valentine's events going on around Surrey and north-east Hampshire this year.
